I am starting a new website and I am looking into the possibly of getting listed at or near the top of the major search engines (Yahoo!, MSN, Google, Etc.). I have search online and found many companies that can list you company near the top of search engines, but not sure which service to go with. Any recommendations on the best company to listing services with or those companies to stay away from? How much should I expect to pay? Or are there free sites to list sites yourself or do you have to use a service? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

if you have your meta tags set up correctly, google will find your site by itself.
