anthony - i bought 2 pairs from best buy last christmas that were $99 per pair. pretty soon i will be re-doing the room and doing wall mounts and will be looking to get rid of these things... i forget the make and model but they are black and fairly contemporary. you can probably still find the same ones at your locak best buy if you made a trip. i use them for my sony satellites (sa-ve230).

I couldn't find any stands that would put my surrounds 5 - 6 feet off the ground. I made a couple of flexy racks using 6 foot threaded rods. I made each shelf 14 X 16" and placed the surround speakers on the top shelf. Total cost was around $100.

    I have build mine too.
Made with 1" mdf (foot). 1/2" MDF (head) 2" ABS tube and a threaded rods . I fill tube with sand for more stability.
Total cost about 15$ (CAN)/each... (about 2,50$ US isn't it???)
    ;-))))
    Email me for pics.
    Hope this help!
