Hey all,

I know a while back, Universal said they were releasing a Special Edition of Sea of Love. Does anyone know what happened to it? I'd love to get one that's actually in widescreen and special features to boot!

All those deleted scenes on the broadcast version would be great!

I was never aware Universal discussed a SE, but I would buy it in OAR since I will never buy the current P&S version.

I haven't bought this one yet because of the Pan and Scan issue and the extra scenes issue. The Lorraine Braco scenes are so definitely needed, they add another layer and make Pacino's character seem so much more pathethic.

Has this film ever been released in it's correct oar? I have the full frame LD because I never found the LTRBX version. Does one exist? How was this film framed? Is this an open matte or was this filmed at a 1.85:1 ratio?

What is it with Pachino and poorly done DVDs? Hopefully, one day nearly all of his movies with be done the right way.

There was a widescreen LD in 1.85:1.

I'm surprised that there's not even a non-anamorphic widescreen DVD, since there was a widescreen LD master at some point.

I'm a big Sea of Love fan. Would be nice to have the broadcast TV extra scenes as extras.
