I have a Sandisk Sansa e130 MP3 player that uses SD memory cards, in the owners manual it says that it will take up to 2GB cards, I have seen 4GB cards for sale on eBay, is there any reason why the player would not accept a 4GB card?

The firmware may have a limitation seeing beyond 2 GB. The only way of finding out is to try it I guess, unless you can find accounts of others trying that out and succeeding/failing.

I would email the company and find out if you can use the 4 gig card with that player. Its easier to find out from the company than to buy the memory and find out it doesn't work.

I put a 1GB card in an IPAQ 3850 when the manual stated that you could only go to 256 MB but then again I may have just got lucky.
