What projection screens are recommended for best brightness AND having sound pumped through?

    Thanks

You need a perforated screen for placing speakers behind, and you will want to look for (hopefully accurate) gain numbers. Obviously, the higher the gain (make sure you also know reflective or retroreflective) the smaller the viewing cone, the brighter the whites, but also the brighter the blacks.

From what I've read acoustically transparrent screens just plain don't work. They compromise both image and sound, both substantially.
