Screen size isue with Sharp Z90U (1 Viewer)

I have a Sharp Z90U with Hughes Platinum HD running through a Denon AVR 3803.
The problem is that the screen is cut off horizontally. How can this be adjusted? I'm watching MSU tear up OSU in basketball and can't see how much time is left or the score corectly and it's driving me bonkers!!! thanks for any help.

What display setting is the Z90 set at... zoom for instance

It is set to 16:9 and 1080i

Like Neil said if you have the screen set to Zoom it will chop info off from top and bottom of screen. Check to see what mode you have it in. There are usually like normal, full, zoom.
