I not only have to make a decision on the model I want to get, but I am curious to know about how far away you should be for screen sizes.
I have a about 10 feet between my eyes and the front of the screen. Is 65" to big? Should I stick with a 55"?
Also, at that distance... would a 65" seem distorted, pixelate or grainy more so than a 55"?

I've got a 65 at about that distance and wouldn't have it any other way! [IMG]

    I am planning on a 66" to 72" 16:9 screen.

The FP's in my price range state a 7' to 8.5' throw.

I really would prefer to have a 'coffee table' 'console' set up instead of ceiling mount. I'll be using a front exhaust design with bottom or rear intake and also have the DVD player underneath in the 'console' (shorter cabling).

I imagine an image size under 6' diagonal would be sharp, saturated and with great contrast.

Based on these figures, will I be disappointed ?
