Screen info for a newbie.... (1 Viewer)

Can someone give me a basic/simple explanation of projector screens? This is what my setup will probably be:

-A completely dark room
-I want the screen to be at around 100" and 16x9
-It will be permanent and does not have to raise or lower.
-I am looking at one of the following pj "Benq6200", Optoma H30 or more likely the upcoming Infocus 4805.

You can get screen samples from most of the major vendors. I have the optoma H30 and the Dalite High Power. If you are planning on a pulldown screen then go with the High Power, it is the best at handling waves, which is a problem with any screens that are not fixed. If you are going with a fixed screen then you have lots more options to consider.
