Scream 2 SE - Actually Released? (1 Viewer)

The Special Edition of Scream 2 was supposedly released last month after being available for a year only in the box set. However, every online retailer seems to have this title on backorder. I didn't see it at Best Buy.
Was the release delayed without an announcement?
Has anyone actually seen this title available anywhere?

At image-entertainment.com it's shown as being "Active", having a release date of 8/7/01. That's all I know; I can't say I've seen it in-stock anywhere myself (other than in the box set, which I already own).

I heard about the seperate release too, but I just haven't seen it anywhere

It sure would be nice to have this 16x9, especially since Halloween is creeping up

I read that they were making it available outside of the boxset, I guess it is true, but I bought the boxset...

I just picked up a Collector's Edition of Scream 2 at Tower Records.
I'll be watching this disc on Halloween night!
