Apparently, he still couldn't get his substance abuse in check.

I would venture to say that this will mark the end of Hall's career.

The WWE main page is saying it was *mutual*, but sources claim that he was fired after being ridiculously intoxicated in England over the weekend, and again RAW.

He already has enough money to retire on, so he made it count. Not sure why companies gave him so many chances, though. It's not like there isn't a ton of other guys out there who would even work for free, basically.

Isn't it called WWF anymore? How long has it been WWE and what does it stand for? Man, how things can slip by like that :b

WWE - World Wrestling Entertainment. Not to be confused (although I don't see how) with WWF - World Wildlife Fund ...

Scott Hall was brought back for the fans. The fans wanted The Outsiders: Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. Seeing them entering the ring was a treat, but watching them wrestle wasn't. It's sad that it had to happen again. I wonder how much longer "Big Sexy" will be around. Oh, and "Mr. Perfect" Kurt Henning was released as well ...

w/o Hall and Hogan, Big Sexy's days are VERY numbered

Those guys were, as predicted, poison in the locker room as well as sucking in the ring

It appears that Hogan has been behaving himself. I think he really is just there to have fun, and have one more round of Hulkamania before he retires

He's still horrible in the ring, but as always is great on the mic

Hogan is a bit slow in the ring, but he has had great matches with The Rock and Jericho. I didn't see his match at Backlash.

Well, this kind of sucks because now I will never get to see my favorite move again, The Outsider's/Razor's Edge. That was a very cool move and Scott Hall was the only wrestler I have ever known to use it.

And now Mr. Perfect is let go:
From RajahWWF
To update on the Lesnar/Hennig situation, the dispute was initiated by the 2 men discussing who was the better amateur wrestler. From then on, fueled undoubtedly by Hennig's alcohol consumption, the situation escalated.

They were totally justified in firing Henning. As much as I think he's talented, that sort of crap cannot go on. They could have killed everyone on the plane

Oh, I agree totally. I've always really liked Henning, but hadn't been impressed with him since his return. He could have been a great character, but he always looked nervous on camera and I saw him miss his gum swap several times! He NEVER missed the gum swap in the old days. He also wasn't even given a push. They should have re-made a few of those "I'm Perfect" vignettes from the past as well.

Damn.
I was just really, really shocked at the situation! Alcohol and pro-wrestling don't mix!

Actually, LOTS of these guys live the party lifestyle.

I used to know some wrestlers, they're a wild bunch.

"Hall is considering suing the wwe for wrongful termination. he claims he wasnt drunk before the ppv, and though falling asleep backstage was wrong, and punishment could be in order, it was not grounds for termination, considering he did not have a match that night. considering the fact that there is video proof where he does not appear to be walking funny, or seem inebriated at raw or the insurexion ppv in england, he has a good chance of winning"

I love hall, I hope he wins.

He looked smashed out of his mind on raw. This guy is the Darryl Strawberry of wrestling... It's a shame . I leke the guy and his character. Scott needs to get his crap together for the two kids he raises. I hope things work out for him but he has used up all his chances as far as I'm concerned:frowning:
