Anybody knows when will this show be on DVD ?
I taped 10 episodes but still didn't get a chance to watch it yet.
    I hate commercial.
I hope it's on DVD soon.

It's coming to the UK soon: A Little Detail Here but don't expect much from Universal UK (apart from overpricing).

Wow, I thought I was the only person who taped it and didn't watch it. I do hope for a nice DVD release. I was looking at some of the participants previouse releases, and made these comparisons. For Sci-Fi's miniseries of Dune, it took them two tries to get it right, but the second version was anamorphic and with DTS, and so was Spielberg's "Band of Brothers" so maybe we can safely assume that "Taken" will have those features as well. Of course, I'm typing this before I read that UK link, so who knows.

Watched it on Sci-fi and absolutely loved it. I was going to post about this myself. Any info on R1 release would be greatly appreciated.

I personally had the opposite reaction to Randall... I absolutely loved it. Don't go into it looking for hardcore sci-fi, however. It's a character drama with a scifi backdrop.

I only got to see about four episodes, but I, too, loved it. A while back I also asked here about a DVD release date and was told sometime in April. So here's hoping.

If you love it, of course, go ahead and buy it.

I was just making the point that, if you already have it on tape, why take a chance? It would have to be a five disc set at least, which would likely cost fifty bucks, if not more. I wouldn't want to spend that much unless I was sure of what I was getting.

I was pretty disappointed in "Taken" so I won't be getting it on DVD.

What started off with alot of promise and very good acting, turned into a jumbled mess that reminded me alot of "V:The final conflict".

I won't go into the story but I thought the last half really lost focus. Heather Donahue (Blair Witch) was horrible. Of course my opinion, but whose gonna disagree with that? The last episode ...well, let's just say it sucked.

From the Choices Direct listing's image (link above) I looks like the set is being branded 'Dreamworks' and not 'Universal'.

Hopefully Dreamworks will insist on a quality product - because all you UK 'Taken' fans - if this is going to be a Universal Playback release you'd be better off waiting for a R1 release!
