I love this show. Was wondering if anyone might know if it is going to become available as a DVD set. I see that PBS has them available on VHS, but I don't even own a VCR anymore.

I don't have any info on this series, in particular, but Paramount recently signed a deal to distribute PBS programs on DVD in the U.S. and Canada.

Expect more PBS titles to make their way to DVD in the coming months.

If you go to ShopPBS.org you'll be pleased to note that this best of television networks seems to be transferring an awful lot of content to DVD. I wouldn't be surprised if some editions of this fine series are on DVD fairly soon.
