    Hi everybody,

Due to the change in the terror alert warning, I have changed my windows startup wav from The Supervisor on THE PRISONER announcing "Orange Alert" in that wonderful British accent, to Capt. James T. Kirk calling for "Yellow Alert". If things get really bad, I have Will Riker's "Rrred Alert!" ready to go. I have tracked down a "Blue Alert" wav from RED DWARF. If Tom Ridge adds a purple or brown alert to the system, I will be ready.

Does anyone know of any sci-fi show on TV that contains the words "GREEN ALERT" as dialogue? I would love to get a wav of this to complete my collection. Many thanks in advance.

Didn't James T. Kirk report a "Condition Green" in one episode? I recall that Scotty was left in charge on the bridge, and Kirk reported in by saying "Condition Green" or something similar, which Scotty knew was a code that really means "We're in trouble down here, but do not attempt to help us."

Thanks, Wayne. I think that will have to do. I guess the words "Green Alert" are unlikely to be used as dialogue, due to the fact that it describes an inherently un-dramatic situation. I remember the scene in question but can't place the episode. I'll have to watch them again to spot this. Thanks again!

Wasn't there a green alert from Ctn. Janeway in one of the first Voyager-landing-on-a-planet episodes? Actually, I'm just guessing...

This may be might Trek-geekness showing...

I think the Star Trek episode in question is...

    Whom Gods Destroy

The one where "Lord Garth" takes over the insane asylum...

    Scott,

    Methinks you are correct!

    Martin,

Thanks for the additional tip. I think I'd rather have a Red Dwarf Blue Alert than a Voyager Blue Alert. [IMG]

Not to get too political on the ol' HTF, but I think the above reason is pretty much the same reason why it won't ever get to Green in the US, either. (/politics)
