Anchor Bay's release of Timerider is missing footage (I compared it to my VHS & Beta versions). Near the end of the movie when the villian is defeated, it instead has stock footage showing that he survives (although he's there, then disappears). However, you still hear on the audio track of his true demise, being diced by the helicopter down to his boots.
Apparently director William Dear had recorded the audio commentary earlier because he talks about this scene. What gives?

Um, could you have put a "spoiler" tag on that thing? I just got the ending ruined for me. [IMG]
I've never seen it, but was gonna get the DVD based on a coworker recommend. I thought I oughta check your thread before buying it, and now this.

My bad, man. I was so outraged that this happened, I wasn't thinking. Again, my apologies. [IMG]
