I have been reading for a while about the scaling feature that the Panny Rp91 has. I am buying a 16:9 set soon and am looking for a great Progressive player to mate with it that is not too expensive.

The Rp91 sounds good, but the guy at a local HT shop said they dont make it any more and are introducing a newer player like it in April.

My question is what other players have the 16:9 scaling option? I know some have said JVC does, but what model numbers?

    Thanks

The Toshiba 4700 and 5700 both do.

    I believe all JVC progressive units do. I know my 70BK does. Try the 60BK/65GD (no DVD-A), 70BK/75GD (DVD-A), 80BK/85GD (7-disc, no DVD-A), and 90BK/95GD (the works)
