I saw this film when it was first released and I was pretty impressed. I haven't seen it since, not even on TV and I've a nasty idea I wouldn't admire it so much today. I seem to recall there was a lot of self-pity in the film and an angry, blame-the-rest-of-society justification for thinking a criminal act might be the way out. I wouldn't mind seeing the film again just once so I'll have to think about this one.
