Beyond grandma's Christmas presents for the grandkids budget. ouch! Sweet cute movie, but I'll have to plan a small time caper with ransom in copies of SS blu rays. "I'll return your parakeet Twerpy for 12 copies...!!!"

I loved this film as a older teenager, not sure how well it will stand up to the test of time. Maybe when the price goes down I will risk it.

I remember booking this film across the Deep South when it was released. We played it in the drive-in’s and hard tops at the same time. This small Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama towns really embraced this film. It played at least 4 weeks in town that were basically two week indoors and 1 week in the drive-ins. I may just have to order this for nostalgia sake. Now we need a Blu Of Harper Valley PTA and Chattanooga Choo Choo.
