For all the movie theatre/film exhibition buffs out there, a 3 part series devoted to the history of Australian cinemas, drive-ins and exhibition, looking at all the main cinemas dating from the silent era to 2015.
This is a show filled with Australian tv and movie personalities, notably movie legend Jack Thompson, but also many of the film projectionists and cinema managers who kept the industry going during the periods threatened by television, home video and now streaming.
If you have an all region dvd player, you are in for a treat -- also with the Australian dollar currently (Dec.15) worth US$0.72, this would be a pretty good buy:
