Occasionally, my Dish loses the satellite signal. Can abrupt stops in the satellite signal damage speakers/subwoofer? I usually listen to satellite broadcasts at reasonable volumes but want to make sure that I am not compromising my speakers/sub when the broadcast signal temporarily goes out. The Dish loses it's signal sometimes when it's snowing or raining which happens a lot here.

If the sound simply cuts out without a noise burst, I don't see how that can possibly damage a speaker.

Sometimes, it simply cuts out. Sometimes, the picture and sound do not go completely out. The image gets distorted for a split second and the sound sort of pops and then the signal comes back in clearly again. It's these temporary reception clips that worry me.
