This is my first posting to Home Theater Forum. I apologize if I seem vague. I have a Samsung DLP HLN437w and Direct TV satellite system running through an Integra DTR 6. My question is should I run the satellite feed through the TV first (like the manual shows for cable TV, with premium channels) or the way I have it currently, which is into the Sat. box and then running an s-video cord to the TV (s-video 1). I do not run video through my DTR 6, just audio (via optical). I am looking for the best pic quality.
    Thanks for the help

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe you can run it to the set first and then the Sat box, at least if you want to take advantage of all the features of Sat TV (premium non-basic channels, sports packages, PPV, etc...).

There's no way unless there's a place to stick your sat card into your RPTV.
