    This is my problem...
I own a sanyo pvl z1 front projector.I bought it with the intention of watching football on my new ht.
I built my own screen 4X8ft. When i watch football on it the picture up close is out of this world. BUT when they go to a shot of the players about to hike the ball the screen gets blurry. The players are not crisp. Its not that bad but enough for me being soooo into QP that it bugs the snot out of me.
My input is a svideo cable...I don't have a HD reciever yet. Is there any thing i can do to help get a better picture than that. I am using dishnetwork for a signal.
is it the signal thats the problem or the projector that isn't reproducing it right?
I run dvd's through it and wow what a thing of beauty...
any suggestions would be of great help[IMG]

Larry you're very likely just seeing the lack of the resolution in the source material so short of going to HD there's not much you can do.

A better line doubler then what is presently in the PLV-Z1 would help some, but probably not worth the spending the money. IF you are near a TV station that broadcasts digital TV and/or HD then I would get that first. The picture from a HD source is fantastic and you won't bitch about the the fuzzy picture (but might about the ocassional drop outs of OTA signals).

Find a way to get the HD, its worth the price/cost!
