Does anyone have any opinions on the DVD that was just released? I know it contains a 80 minute (apprx) movie, and a bonus 22 minute episode of Samurai Jack; but my real question is wether it's worth a sight unseen purchase?
I'm a BIG fan of animation and this seems to be a really cool looking series to check out.
PS: Im in Canada, so I cant check out the Cartoon Network [IMG]

I just watched it this evening. I like the content a lot. It is an interesting use of limited TV animation with really dynamic layouts and design, not to mention ridiculous amounts of highly stylized action. The disc is mislabeled as having only English and Spanish mono tracks. In fact, it has a very active 5.1 track in addition to English and Spanish 2.0 stereo tracks. The only knock on the presentation is the presence of some compression artifacts (they put all of it on a single layer disc - there is less than 100 minutes of content total), but it is otherwise very nice.[IMG]
