Samsung TV (4:3)... your thoughts please. (1 Viewer)

I'm moving out on my own in a couple weeks. My parents are not letting me take our big TV, so I'm stuck with this 13" POS! Not good... for TV/DVD/XBOX/Anything.

I've been hunting around for something and I've come accross this TV from Samsung: TXN2434F.

What does everyone think? Will it suit my needs? I'll be sitting pretty close to the TV, so it's probably the biggest size I would want. (Well, maybe the 27" TXN2734F)

Anyone have any experiences with Samsung TVs?
What about the differences between the two? The 24" is around $380CDN and the 27" is about $150CDN more.

I'm open to suggestions for different brands, but please though don't suggest anything that is more expensive. I wont be able to afford it.

decent. mkae sure it has the 16:9 squeeze mode. if i were you i would spend a tad more and buy the jvc.
