My HD DTV reciever just arrived and is working great so I'm selling my OTA Samsung HD Receiver.

This unit is component only, about 3 months old and comes with remote and printed manual.

In perfect working order, never had a single problem.

On Ebay they're going around 215-225 plus shipping.

$200.00 Shipped via USPS anywhere in the continental US.

    Email [email protected] if interested.

    Thanks

    Nobody?

Figuired this would go real quick, 1/2 off what they are new in the store and a great way to get a new piece of equipment for your new HD TV for a good price.

actually best buy is clearing these out for $99.99 now. I was there the otherday and verified it with the manager and it was clearly marked on shelf tag. not open box but New in box! all stock!

What is so hard about not posting price comparisons in someone's "for sale" thread. I'm sure the administrator will jump in here shortly to tell you guys to not do this, but why does no one get this. $200 seems to be about what this unit is getting on eBay, IIRC, so why are you guys busting his chops with Sam's prices (which you have to be a member, so it's not 100% "retail") and Best Buy close-outs? The Best Buy info is extremely useful and a fabulous deal, but that should be posted in a different forum...not this one.

    Steve,

I didnt do it to cut a deal out from under anyone. he has not got any bites. if he knew what local retail is selling for maybe it would help him and he might think of lowering his price si he can infact sell it. I know I would apprecitae it. its better than your item getting buried and never being able to sell it. the samsung is not discontinued so I dont think its a permanent closeout. im sure it will be the reg price for quite a while till a new model comes out.

you cant use ebay. people buy everything pover priced. I make my extra money there so I know. if he was smart he would infact put it on ebay. but no one here is gonna pay $200 if they shop, look around and search locally for prices. everyone knows best buy so Im sure this wont be a secret for very long. I put my stuff on here but it goes on ebay as well. I dont wait. its hard to sell stuff on here.

good luck Eric and was only trying to help you on what these are gpoing for so you can sell it. ebay is def the best bet. I know they are selling for more than $200 there. people are crazy on ebay. they use it as the only source of buying and thats good for some of us trying to make a profit. [IMG]

That was my point. The information itself is not unwanted (even by the seller, perhaps), but there are forum rules about posting such information in a seller's ad. I think that if Best Buy is selling it for that price, it's an awesome deal. I haven't checked. It's not the info, it's how it was disseminated.

I checked BB's website, no mention of the 151 at all. Circuit City has these open box returns for 229+taxes.

When I saw the post I thought there were rules for this, but what can you do?

The iritating thing is, I purchased a new unit to replace the 151 based on the current Ebay costs, minus of course their fee's, shipping and all that and came up with a fair price.

I do believe in fair pricing, I purchased a Lite On unit from someone here who wasn't gouging like others were, and when I replaced it with a HD931 I could have gone the Ebay route and put it up for probably 75-85 dollars more, but I decided to pass the deal onto someone else that someone allowed me to have.

Ebay may be about paying top dollar, and if thats what I wanted, thats where I would have posted it. I thought it would make a good deal for an ethusiast and priced it accordingly.
