Anyone know much about the Samsung DVD-HD931 DVD player? What are some of its unique features and why would these be of benefit to me?

    I have a Sony KV-36XBR450 direct-view HDTV-ready TV with analog component inputs (480i/489p/1080i).

If you don't want to wade through the long AVS thread, the 931 will have the ability to scale DVDs to 720p or 1080i, but only through it's DVI/HDCP output, not through the component outputs. That being said, it may still be a fine DVD player, based on its use of the new Genesis FLi2300 chip. We'll just have to wait and see.
