Samsung DVD-HD931 DVD Player (1 Viewer)

I am thinking about getting a higher end DVD player. I was looking at the Samsung DVD-HD931 DVD Player but I only have an HD Ready Sony 53inch RPTV. Can I still getthe 720P or 1080i quality picture through tv set?
Any ideas will be appreciated.

1080i is only available via DVI, as is the Faroudja deinterlacer. If you do a search, you will find more than enough info on this player.
