SAMSUNG BLU RAY PROBLEMS (1 Viewer)

I have a samsung blu ray player.
Lately, it is developing problems.
Some of my hmoe blu rays and discs from the public library, all get rejected, saying THIS DISC WILL NOT PLAY as an on screen warning.
whats up with this?

DId those titles (a) play previously with no errors, or (b) are they newer releases?
If A) buy a new player. (I'm so free with your money, aren't I? )
If B) check to see if there is a firmware update. My impression is that Fox and Sony discs tend to be the most unforgiving of "stale" firmware but others may disagree.
More information would probably help in determining what is wrong. For Bd playback issues though I think the first step is to always make sure your player firmware is the latest and greatest.
