I am wondering something, I have a 42 inch DLP Samsung TV that has 2 HDMI inputs, I am running a LG DVD Player, upconvert one. I also have a Pioneer DTS receiver. My question is this, if I run the DVD player audio through the TV which will passthrough the audio using optical cable straight into my Pioneer I am NOT able to get DTS working, however if I just use the Coaxial cable from DVD player to the receiver it works fine. Is there anything I am missing? I would like to have the audio run through the TV, eliminating the Coaxial cable.

Any advise will be helpfull.
Thank you
Mark

Hi Keram - most TV's will not pass DD5.1 or other surround sound. You'll need to connect all audio directly to the receiver... :)
