anyone know if the handles in front of the amp are removable.
otherwise it won't fit in our cabinet

I would like to know the answer to this as well. I have tried to remove the handles from the 1000 with out success.

well, i just solved the problem the old fashioned way (well, at least the manly way)....
i broke out some tools, and just sawed a little bit off the back of our already altered av cabinet.
i love testosterone!
