Has this movie been officially released? I've been on Amazon.com and it doesnt seem to be there.

Its a fantastic film, my dad owns it on videotape but at this stage who knows where it is, whoever owns the rights to it really has to release it on dvd...

In the meantime, TCM is scheduled to show it April 24, 08:00PM and again May 10, 02:00PM.

I treasure my laser disc from Paramount home video which is bright and colorful and includes the Victor Young overture. Why this isn't on DVD is a mystery.

There are two possible venues a release: Legend Films (it might help if it could be marketed as a horror film) or Criterion (they did release a 2 discer of DeMille's KING OF KINGS a couple of years ago.)
