Indicator/Powerhouse Films will release Sahara (1943) on Blu-Ray January 20th. One of my favorite WWII films and some very nice extras on it.

Awesome! The French Blu-ray looks terrific so I imagine this will be identical or better. Plus some nice extras. One of my favorite Bogarts and easily one of his most underrated. And a big influence (Rex Ingram's performance) on a young Harry Belafonte.

Lucky man! It's a very good film. Notice that portions of Miklos R's masterful score turn up in EARTH VS. THE FLYING SAUCERS, including the Nazi theme, which seems appropriate.

As far as I can tell this new disc has more or less identical A/V to the French Blu-ray released years earlier. Great restoration, extras and booklet. Thank you Indicator. It's nice to have a deluxe release of one of my favorite Bogart films.
