I'm hoping to get one of these subs sometime, but I live in an apartment and space is very limited. So I was wondering what's a good distance to keep this guy away from the TV (a sony WEGA), the sub not being shielded? Any suggestions? I have one spot where there's about 3ft....actually, that's practically the only spot it could go.

    Thanks.

I can't think of any decent subs I've ever heard of being shielded. My sub is a few feet from my WEGA and I have no issues either (a little further than Dustin's).

Shh, that ain't mine, that's my roommates. I'd never set my gear up like that. I helped him get this nice gear, he has a living room down stairs where it could be setup much better, but he insists on having it in his room :p)
