New add-on sale at twilighttimemovies.com through May 17

30 Titles -- mostly the newer releases with lots of stock
Pick 10 for $115
Multiples of 10, maximum of 100. 11 or 12 doesn't get you a prorated discount so must be groups of 10 to get full discount

ADMIRABLE CRICHTON, THE (AKA PARADISE LAGOON / 1957)
BABY THE RAIN MUST FALL (1965)
BANDOLERO! (1968)
BEDAZZLED (1967)
BEHOLD A PALE HORSE (1964)
BIG FIX, THE (1978)
HELLO, FRISCO, HELLO (1943)
HUSSY (1980)
MELVIN AND HOWARD (1980)

RIVER'S EDGE, THE (1957)
SNAKE PIT, THE (1948)

SUDDENLY, LAST SUMMER (1959)
TALK RADIO (1988)

THE CHAIRMAN (1969)
THREE COINS IN THE FOUNTAIN (1954)

WHIRLPOOL (1949)
WHOLE TOWN'S TALKING, THE (1935)
WILD IN THE COUNTRY (1961)
WILL SUCCESS SPOIL ROCK HUNTER? (1957)
YANKS (1979)

One error I noticed in my list from a couple days ago and meant to post about it -- Suddenly Last Summer is not part of the 10 for 115 sale.

Best as I can tell, TwilightTimeMovies just extended the $10 for 115 sale to almost all 14.95 titles -- I see approx 111 on the list, but I have double checked everything yet. So far I can see Cutter's Way and Eureka aren't included, but still checking on the rest

Also new individual code for Three Coins in the Fountain which will stack with the above deal
SAVE MORE! Use coupon code Coins to save an additional $5 off your total purchase when you have at least $50 in your cart including this title. Expires May 17th, 2020

So far this appears to the list of excluded 14.95 titles

ANASTASIA (1956)
CHATO'S LAND (1972)
CUTTER'S WAY (1981)
EUREKA (1983)
GARDEN OF EVIL (1954)
GLORY GUYS, THE (1965)
I COULD GO ON SINGING (1963)
INSERTS (1975)
ROLLERBALL (1975 / ENCORE EDITION)
ROMEO IS BLEEDING (1993)
RUSSIA HOUSE, THE (1990)
SATAN NEVER SLEEPS (1962)
SHADOWS AND FOG (1991)
ZELIG (1983)

Anyway it appears to be a straight price change and new prices now live -- 4.95 now 3.95, 8.95 now 6.95, 14.95 now 11.95

I guess that pretty much kills SAE sales other than those 35-40 titles (and increasing) no longer at TTM

The 10/115 is either updating or they've changed the list again. I'm not sure what's up with it right now -- I'm now seeing 48 titles instead of 112 this morning but several that were excluded are now included. Maybe they are still updating the the New New Sale

Finally updated and all the 11.95 titles are in the 10/115 sale except Suddenly Last Summer

Items flying off the site right now. I can't even get through updating my low volume list before I have to re-do it. Either all the TT fans hit at once or there's some speculators and maybe Overstock/ Movie Store buyers that are scarfing up item 5-10 units at a time - esp the $4/7 titles..

There are 4-5 items that had 300 copies earlier today that say they're sold out, but I would expect some of these to come back online tomorrow. I don't know if the inventory number are glitching like earlier this week, but some of these there's just no way sold 250 copies in 4 hrs. A Day in the Country seemed to sell 70 units in 5 minutes? I do strongly suspect there are some private bulk buyers for other Video/Media stores (Overstock stores, some indie Movie Stores and I suspect some Ebay resellers) involved just due to some of the mass movements of certain titles in very short periods.

I'm not entirely sure how to go about continuing this thread since the SAE and TT Sale no longer overlap, but here's the Monday update realizing is now messier and harder to keep track now that the Bulk Buyers/Resellers appear to be involved. Massive numbers are suddenly moving. I'd guess the TTM inventory sold 30000-40000 units yesterday as my best guess.

SAE LOW STOCK so this is the last batch
To Sir With Love -- just hit 47 Since I haven't found their cart numbers reliable at all, this should be taken as get it now and don't wait at all.

The last several items that have hit the <50 have gone within hours and some of them minutes. I'm not sure if 50 isn't 50 or some bot is programmed to sit on those numbers and immediately buy the last 50 copies.

It’ll be interesting to see which titles remain, if any, by the end of June. Currently, it seems that “Bobby Deerfield” is the new “American Buffalo” in terms of being a slow moving sell.

I’ve purchased both, but due primarily for their incisive commentaries.

Keep up the good work, Mr. Norman; as you have provided the HTF membership a great and guiding service throughout the entirety of this Twilight Time sale.

This sale has just basically been rendered irrelevant by the deeper discounts offered at Twilight Time's own site, no? Unless you can get cheaper shipping from SAE depending on what you buy, I can't imagine they will move that many copies while TT's own site is cheaper.

The possible upside for SAE is that once a title goes out of stock at TT, they will have the only remaining new stock.

Less useful now that SAE and TTM have separated their sales terms.

The SAE half of the sale is pretty much the same as it was, but with around 210 items for sale.

The TT sale with their remaining 80+ titles. The differences in the 2 sales for those titles left at TT
SAE price 4.95 TT 3.95
SAE price 8.95 TT 6.95
SAE price 14.95 TT 11.95

Other perks at TT
1) All of TT 11.95 are now part of a 10 for $115 deal. $4.50 savings of 10 titles
2) COINS -- an extra $5 off $50 discount if THREE COINS IN A FOUNTAIN is part of the order- expires May 17, 2020
3) Large Purchase Discount -- extra 10% off $500+ purchase
.

It does appear much of the HIGH VOLUME sales from Sunday evening and Monday have subsided I guess as the resellers have filler their coffers and emptied their banks. There is virtually zero chance that the Volume I was seeing was the pretty small Twilight Time Consumer base. At least that should decrease the mass decrease in titles like the last 36 hrs.

And I suspect you'll see more like this one over the next couple days as orders are cancelled, CC payment declined, or general orders are cancelled
NEXT STOP, GREENWICH VILLAGE (1976) - 80 copies were just put back up at TTM

Important Update on Shipping
When we made our store closing announcement on Sunday, we could never have imagined the response from thousands of film collectors who have all come forward to place their final orders with us.

We are incredibly grateful for every one of your orders, and your support of Twilight Time to the bitter end.

As many of you have noted in the past two months, our ability to ship orders in high volume has been impeded by COVID-19, as our warehouse workers are required to follow stringent safety protocols for their protection and yours. This means that we can only process a certain number of shipments per day.

Unfortunately, we have received such a massive influx of thousands of orders in the past 3 days that our warehouse has informed us it will take a few weeks to fully catch up on shipments. All orders are being shipped out in the order received, and our warehouse is working 7 days a week to attempt to get through this backlog as fast as possible.

We ask your patience and understanding while we work diligently to meet this unprecedented demand. Please note that emails to our support staff may also be slightly delayed in receiving a response, as we are also fielding a great number of inquiries at the moment.

Thank you for your support and understanding!

Store Closing June 30th
Douglas, thank you for your support of Twilight Time Movies these past years. As you may have heard, Twilight Time announced earlier today that they will not be releasing any more titles and will cease all operations this summer. As a result, we will also be closing as of June 30th. Leading up to that, we are doing a one time price reduction of all Twilight Time titles-- new prices effective immediately will be $3.95, $6.95 and 11.95. A full list of titles with updated prices, additional promotional discounts, and other important details can be found below.

Due to anticipated order volume and the fact that our warehouse will be packing/shipping on weekends, we will be unable to make any changes to orders once placed. Please allow three business days for any support requests to be answered.

Please Note: ClassicFlix titles will continue to be carried at ClassicFlix.com and Flicker Alley titles will continue to be carried at FlickerAlley.com .

It has been our pleasure to serve you!

ADDITIONAL DISCOUNTS:
Ten for $115 special: This offer has been continued and updated to include ALL titles in the top pricing bracket. Savings are automatically applied when you buy any group of ten from the $11.95 price category. Click here to shop all included titles .

Bulk Purchase Discount: All orders with over $500 of Twilight Time titles will receive an automatic 10% discount (does not apply to shipping, ClassicFlix and Flicker Alley titles).

Featured Title Discount: We are currently featuring Best Picture Academy Award® nominee Three Coins In The Fountain starring Clifton Webb, Dorothy McGuire, Jean Peters, Louis Jourdan, Maggie McNamara and Rossano Brazzi. In addition to an isolated music track, this release has an audio commentary with Film Historian Jeanine Basinger. Mike Finnegan penned an interesting article about Fox studio chief Darryl Zanuck's attempt to edit the film: Coins of an S.O.B.'s Realm. From now through May 17th if you 1) have a minimum of $50 in your cart that 2) includes Three Coins In The Fountain you can save an additional $5 off your total purchase by using the coupon code Coins at checkout.
International Customers: We will stop offering international shipments outside of North America in early June. Additionally, the US Postal Service is now sending most packages by sea instead of air causing typical delivery times well in excess of the normal 4 to 6 weeks. (Even longer if there are weather, port or customs delays.) This is a situation that is completely out of our control. Once you receive a shipping confirmation email, we ask that you remain patient as your package is in the international mail system on its way to you. Please allow several additional weeks beyond what is normal. In the unlikely event that your designated country has a service interruption and is not able to eventually deliver your package to you, they will return the package to us. We will gladly refund any packages that are refused and returned to our warehouse.

Please see this United States Postal Service announcement for a full list of international postal service updates. If you have any trouble placing your order at www.twilighttimemovies.com , simply reply to this email and we'll be happy to help.

I posted this in the Blu-ray & UHD Twilight Time thread, but thought I'd drop it here as well:

----------------

Well, here's some interesting news. Screen Archives Entertainment has acquired the Twilight Time label and some of its assets, effective July 1, 2020! Here are all the details they've released:

SCREEN ARCHIVES ACQUIRES TWILIGHT TIME BACK CATALOG

May 14, 2020 -- Screen Archives Entertainment has reached an agreement with Twilight Time Movies to purchase the company’s extensive Twilight Time Movies inventory or back catalog, along with reprint rights of limited titles, and its website effective July 1, 2020. The agreement ensures that the Twilight Time label will continue indefinitely, according to the principals.

Screen Archives has served as the primary distribution partner to Twilight Time since its beginning, working with the late Nick Redman and co-founder Brian Jamieson.

Jamieson, a veteran studio executive and filmmaker will continue to provide marketing expertise and support to Screen Archives during the transition.

Screen Archives president Craig Spaulding said, “Having worked with Brian and Nick over the years, we took this step because we have always enjoyed a good relationship with Brian (and Nick). We wanted to keep our relationship going and continue to capitalize on Brian’s years of expertise in the industry.

Screen Archives began in 1976 and has grown into a worldwide distributor of soundtracks, DVDs, and Blu-rays. No further details will be made available until after July 1, 2020.
