SACD outer sleeve (1 Viewer)

[rant]OK, once was frustrating, twice was weird, now it seems like every SACD has an outer sleeve stuck on the jewel with frikin' crazy glue. I can't slide the jewel box out.[/rant]

What is with these outer sleeves anyway? Even Redbook is into them (Sam Phillips-Fan Dance, Harry Nilson-Nilson Schmilsson, etc).

I patiently worked my subject (Cyndi Lauper/She's So Unusual) with a letter opener for about ten minutes and found the top spline split open, peeled back/stuck onto the sleeve.

This seems to happen to most SACD's I'm buying.

John, I haven't experienced this problem with the outer sleeves. Maybe the newer releases with the plastic outer sleeves will work better for you. At least if you have to cut them, you aren't losing anything. They are generic after all.
