I was at Costco yesterday (Costco is a large warehouse chain, similar to Sam's Club, for those who are unfamiliar with it), and much to my delight I saw several Hybrid SACD's for sale. This is GREAT to see! They had "Tommy" and "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" right there in front. This is the first time I've seen SACD's at Costco. I interpret this as very good news. It tells me that the record companies may be substituting hybrids for CD's in stores.

Also, "Goodbye..." was only $19.99. With luck, people will start buying these hybrids, which may be the key to getting more re-releases and new artists on SACD and DVD-A.

    Fingers Crossed.

Costco has had the Dylan box set (unfortunately I bought several) for $149.99 a little bit ago. Hard to go wrong at $10 each.
