SACD and Regular DVD/CD Player? (1 Viewer)

Can you play a SACD on a regular DVD/CD player...if so will it sound better than a regular CD because of the fact that it is a SACD?

Most CD/DVD players will play the CD layer of a SACD (Hybrid SACD's). Keep in mind that Sony doesn't make hybrid SACD's. Most other companies do.

My Cal Audio doesn't play hybrids. It is something you will have to try or check with your manufacturer.
