Hi all,
Why is the 2 channel playback from my SACD player so noisy?! (read on for further details)
I hope someone has the answer to this question. For awhile I have had the urge to delve into the world of SACD and decided that the Sony DVP-NS500V would be a good starter transport as it comes in at right around $300. I've been especially impressed with all of the multi-channel material I've heard..but, all of my 2 channel SACD's are SO ambiently noisy! It's not just a few...all are.
Anyone having similar problems? Recommendations? What baffles me the most is that the multi-channel and 2 channel signals run through the same cables into the same 5.1 analog inputs on my reciever, so the noise difference doesn't make sense. I can't figure it out. Hopefully someone can give me (and anyone else with this problem) some helpful advice.
