IS there a cord you can by to make the gamecube s-video enabled?

Monster Cable recently started making S-Video cables for GameCube, but they are quite expensive.

I'm sure other third party companies make S-Video cables also, and they should be fine for most of your needs. Any local videogame store worth its salt should have some to sell you.

I Believe N64 and Gamecube use the same analog cables. So try that also.

Indeed! N64, Gamecube, and SNES use the same analog a/v out. An s-video cable should be readily available from your local game store.
