s video for HD? (1 Viewer)

I have a Seleco HT200 DLP, yes it's the early one and software has been updated as of 9 months ago. My Marantz receiver does not have component video plugs so I use S video to the projector. If I use a HD receiver form DISH network, plug that into my marantz receiver using S video, then use existing s video line to the projector will the HD signal go through or does it have to go through component lines? I'm asuming the HT200 from about yr2000 will project a high def picture. I know it doesn't project 1028 by ? like the newer and more expensive models.

no, s-video is only capable of doing 480i. It cannot not even do 480p, let alone HD.
