I am trying to decide between two Yamaha receivers. One is the RX-V596 and the other is RX-V520. I realize that the 596 has more power, but my question is which one should I choose given they will be used 50/50 as far as home theater and music goes. The 520 has all channel stereo and the other one doesn't. Is this is a legitimate concern or am I just being silly?
I plan on combing one of these receivers with a Mission speaker set-up. I'm using Mission because I already have a pair of fronts.
Any advice or thoughts would really be helpful.

Francis, I'm always up for what's new. Rememeber, more watts doesn't make too much a difference. Here's a helpful article I wrote:

Here's as plain as it gets.....
Yamaha rx-v596 @ 100x5 watts....maybe a decibel louder than the Yamaha rx-v520 @ 80x5 watts. One decibel is NOTHING. Therefore, go for the features (ooo all channel stereo) and read some reviews at audioreview.com.
