After all my searching and reviewing I concluded that the Rx-V2400 was best for me. Does anyone have a good line on where I can get one at a good price (like the 3803 6ave deal)? Thanks

I was told that Yamaha does not do online sales. Therefore, you'd have to bite the bullet and buy one from a Tweeters or other dealer.

Be careful in dealing with on-line dealers for Yamaha. The warranty they offer may only be from their dealer, which means you will have to return the receiver to them for any repairs. I have ordered one from a local dealer and got a 20% discount on the 2400. That is the best he would offer.

Make sure you ask the online dealers if they have the 2400 with DPLIIx and not DPLII. They might have older stock that didnt have the new DPLIIx.
