Running wires under carpet... (1 Viewer)

I have been running wires under the baseboard then putting back the carpet. Now I need to run some spkr wires across the room. Is there a great way to do this?

Most people will tell you not to do this they will site it as a fire hazard. Which it may be, but I really don't think there is much risk in the current going through a speaker wire causing a fire. I had to run wires under a carpet one time in an apartment. From my experience I would suggest running them in as low of a traffic area as possible as it will cause your carpet to wear faster in the area that has the wire under it. Also If you don't want to pull the the carpet up you can use a coat hanger or 2 to fish the wire through. These are only my expernices and I strongly you research the risk of fire from doing this prior to installing.
