    Hi all

I have a soundblaster live and I want to run sound to my reciever downstairs. I bought a converter that converts from the end that goes into the soundcard to rca jacks. So I have run to sperate wires downstairs into the reciever. My question is which port does it go into on the back of the sound card (What color?) and what do I have to do to activate that port. I already have the speakers in the computer room hooked into the green port. Any help would be appriciated since I have realitves coming over and I would love to have Christmas music playing.

    Thanks in advance.

    Jason

Well, the green jack should be your line-out and it is to that you need to connect the wire to the receiver. Can't you unplug the computer speakers?

Yes I could use the green port but I want to be able to use the computer speakers as well. I don't want to have to switch it each time.

For a dollar at Radio Shack you can get a splitter for that.
