I need to place an RPTV as close as possible to the wall to fit my room. What's the minimum distance that's safe? The RPTV will have free clearance/airflow except for the close rear fit...

    Thanks...

In my humble, uninformed opinion: zero inches. Just bang it right up against the wall, or as close as you can get with all of the cables you'll be running. The ventilation slots are in the top of the chassis.

On my Mits 65611 there is a bumpout on the back that forces a 4-5" stand off from the wall.
