Not sure what to do here. I am buying a Mits WS-65819, both Tweeter and Cambride soundworks have these for $3499. I see these same sets on line for $2899.

I would love to save myself $600 and buy online, but my worries are that if something goes wrong with the set, who is going to service it? I do plan on buying a service plan, but have heard of so many horror stories of sets being down for weeks and months.

Any thoghts from the forum are very welcome, 3 grand is a big deal for me so I want to be sure.

If you buy online you will not be able to exchange the set if there is anything wrong with it. You will have to get it serviced thru Mitsubishi. If you buy from a local dealer then you have 30 days to exchange the set for any reason. I saved $1000.00 when I purchased my set online, so to me it was worth taking the chance. I received my set with out any problems.

By the way I didn't purchase a Mits. Good luck on what ever you decide.
