Morning,
I would like to clean my crt lamps and inside of my screen on a Pioneer SD643. What is the best way to get to these to clean them? Any pitfalls I should watch out for?

Take off the front screen, clean the screen, lenses, and guns with a damp soft clot, (cotton or flannel) and dry with same.

How do I remove the front screen carefully without any damage. I don't see any obvious entry points?

I'm not sure on your set, but on mine, there were screws around the outer bezel, and some on the bottom of the bezel above the speaker grill.
