RP91 Progressive signal into Toshiba 57H81: 480P or 540P?

I am considering buying a new Toshiba 57H81 RPTV. I note in that sets specs that it converts both 480i and 480p input into 540p. Does this mean that it takes my 480p output from my RP91 and converts it back into 480i and then into 540p using its' own internal chipsets and deinterlacing processes?
If so, does this mean that my DVD playback will exhibit the usual Toshiba DVD type playback problems... and not the usually great (comparably) RP91 images?
Anyone have any info on this???

I think it takes the 480p signal and upconverts it to 540p, but keeps it in the progressive mode. The TV only has one scan rate, therefore the reason for the upconvert.
Stop HDCP and 5C-- Your rights are at risk!
