RP91 Cueing Annoyance

    The Panasonic RP91 is a great machine, but after having it for almost eight months, I am officially annoyed with its slow-poke cueing system on DVD-V (i.e. standard) and DVD-A discs.

    When I want to cue from track 1 to track 6, I can't hit >>| a bunch of times and expect the machine to get there. Nooooo, instead I press >>| a bunch of times, it ignores me and slowly shuffles over to...track 2.

    Why no direct-track access like on CD players?

    I know what you mean, but you can hit display and toggle through the track numbers using the joystick.
