ROTEL RSP-1066: Does anyone know if the DTS-ES is discrete or matrixed?

    I've searched the net but can't find this info.

    It came out in early 2002 which is about when I think the first DTS-ES discrete processors came out but was this one of the first to include it or one of the last without it?

    it has DTS ES discrete and matrixed but not DTS 96/24

    Thanks Hartwig,

    I found the answer evetually at a review HERE and the heading says so does this mean that a firmware upgrade would give you 96/24?

    I believe Rotel is done with firmware updates for the 1066.
