Does anyone here have any insight or experience with this new Rotel DVD player. I've been looking at the Denon 2200 and was just about sold when I saw the 1040. Doesn't do sacd or dvd-a but my dc-2 can't accept the multi-channel signals anyway. I'm thinking that this $500 player is probably a better quality unit than the 2200, perhaps Rotel invested more in the dvd only performance than in making a universal player. Besides, I'm not much of a critical music listener anyway.
On the other hand, there's a small part of me feeling like I don't want to miss out on dvd-a/sacd. But that opens up another thread I'll post in pre-amp section. Thanks to all in advance.
